Welcome to the Daily FX and Free Forex Forum. All trades discussed will be on the day light. The strategy is the Sharak Grid Trade Forex Trading Strategy.

The EURO- Has been in the same trade for 10 days. We are up over 300 pips locked in.

The POUND- Had a beautiful run, but it did not give any entrances. If I was desperate to trade, I could have gone down to the four hour or even the one hour candles to see what I could find.

The E/J- Southbound grid break, Woodie's crossover, Sars, but no breakfast break. It is stuck on the go for gold line also. This is a toughie, very anti trend also.

The GRAVEYARD- Nothing doing

The ROO- No trades at the current moment.

The CHEESE- Nice grid break back a few days ago. Was in a southbound trade till tonight where an opposing candle ended the trade.

I will keep you posted if anything changes.

Welcome to the Daily FX and Free Forex Forum! Good to see ya. Here is an overview of the room last night. This is some of the play by play that went on with our forex trading strategy on a one minute light.

Been watching the ones for the past hour. Nothing special as far as movement goes. I'll take a little Metamucil and get back to my charts.
Sharaks grids with the power arrows and the Big Breakfast have been working very well on the one minute. I have made six trades and I am up six pips so far. Not bad when you consider that I had three winners and three losers and I am still up six pips. Very Cool!

Oopps, I just got into a short trade on the one minute EURO. Four pips against me so far.
OK, it's coming back down hard. It's hovering around break even.
Just banked six more pips on it. I am out of it.
Up twelve pips for the night so far.
It is doing an upwards retrace, so I am ok with pulling with the six pips.
Ahhhh, good, if I had stayed in I would have been taken out with an opposing candle and I would have left with two pips instead of the six. Hehe, thank you again Hanna for the Hanna exit, it would have saved my butt from a loss as now it is retracing past break even.

Ok, another short entrance, good straight to first target for two more pips in the pot, and out with a Hanna's opposing candle exit. My total is 14 so far.
Ok, it's a bit after 4. I am going to take a break and put some coffee on.

Make Me Money!

Everyone always says to me, Dr. Bob, "Make me money!" I hear it all the time, and now that most of my trading is back on the Day lights where it should be, I find that I have back some of the time that I used to devote to forex to other money making ventures. There are not a lot of real money makers out there, and you really have to have some experience in weeding through the cow pastures before you can spot a good thing from a bad.

Hanna and I have been testing two of what looks like to us to be the best money makers and both of them seem real good. We are actively involved in both.

The grocery train might just be the biggest hit of the last fifty years in the network marketing field. The idea of a network marketing company using groceries delivered to your home at supermarket prices, is absolutely brilliant. Who the hell is gonna tell you that they don't use the stuff!

The next one is totally more complicated in why it works, but we are testing it out now, and so far, it is working. We have even been given two new associates by the company without even asking. We were very surprised and we have even made a few dollars (like three) since we started two days ago.
It looks very promising so far. We will keep you posted.

And on top of that our grid trading has been doing very good for the past few weeks. I have even managed to keep even and a bit above trading on the one minute light, and on the day chart, we have been kickin it!

Last night in the Vampire Room: A Quiet Night

Hello Vampires,

It was a quiet day for Grid Trading and other forex trading strategies in general. For a good portion of the night the euro stood in a tiny little 5 or 10 pip channel which did not give a heck of a lot of room to catch an entrance. A few times our forex trading strategy saved us by the skin of our teeth with some decent wins of 10-20 pips which in this market is pretty good. Combining our wins and our losses we ended up with 14 pips. Definitely nothing to write home to mother about, but in the world of foreign exhange trading, it's not to bad in a market like last night.
Here is what went on in the room last night for those who missed it.

Been putzing on the one minute, had two nice little runs for 5 and 6 pips respectively, then gave em back with fakes. I checked trend up to the 30 minute lite to find out there is none. Welcome to tonites edition of the Daily FX and Free Forex Forum!
All analysis unless otherwise stated is done off of the daily chart using a combination of Grids, BB, Sars, Power Arrows and Woodies CCI.

The EURO- No change. Still in a trade for the past few days. Up 235 pips locked. We are getting closer and closer to the VRZ. Easy does it.

The POUND- Same deal as the EURO but it never gave us an entrance.

The E/J- First entrance in a nice long run was about 3 days ago. I passed on it. It is still in the trade now.

The GRAVEYARD- We have been in a trade for the last 8 days. Up somewhere in the area of 345 pips, locked in.
Might be starting a retrace, but stops are set, so we are good

The Roo- Was in a trade a week ago that yielded about 300 pips or so. Then it gave us a 100 pip fake four days ago, and nothing new since.

The CHEESE- up 70 pips from a trade from around four days ago. I have a pretty tight stop on this one.

End of the week guys. You don't really want to have big positions heading into the weekend. Tighten stops. Your forex trading strategy, Sharaks grids will help to protect you.

Updates On New Marketing Program

Tuesday night Hanna and I went to see a presentation of a new networking plan. The CEO Rodney Goins was there to speak to all of us. The company is presently getting ready for its public launch which will be extremely soon.

We have the opportunity to position ourselves in a brand new network marketing company not only within its first year, but actually before they have even launched. The few initial launches that we found were underfinanced, pyramidy type structures, with products that nooooobody uses. Or else it was stuff you could find in stores for half the price.

We were first impressed with the product, groceries, nothing fancy, but you

ABSOLUTELY CANNOT GET BY WITHOUT THEM.

No one can tell me sorry, but I don't use the stuff.

Best part is that they deliver it to your house. I am absolutely in love with that. We first found them when we were googling for grocery delivery services.

NOT ALL THE TIME

BUT SOMETIMES WE JUST DON'T WANT TO LEAVE THE HOUSE!

We were not looking for a new network marketing company as we are already involved in a few different ventures (there is nothing new in that!) But the idea of this intrigued me. Once someone signs up as a customer to get groceries home delivered, anything that they order for the rest of time, you will get a cut of. I figure the average family spends no less than $600.00 a month at the grocery store. I like the idea of being paid a percentage of their bill, FOREVER!

Now, for me, I think that I will still shop my own meat and veggies, but I will let them bring me the rest of the dry goods and paper products and other stuff. But I will say that we have been assured that the quality of their picking of meat and veggies was superb. Someone told me that they hired a bunch of expert shopper old Jewish ladies who go and squeeze the melons before they bring it to you!

So I will give them a try with a couple of ribeyes and a cantelope or two and see how they do.

Statistics say that if you get groceries delivered twice, with good service, that 85% of the people will remain customers for life. We put up 100 flyers in our neighborhood and got 70 calls. Pretty impressive I thought. In the questions we asked, all said they would order at least twice a month and more than a few said they would do most of their shopping this way.

We were kind of surprised.

They even show you how you can get free groceries and gas for life.

The initial investment was ridiculously low, $150.00 and $100.00 was for the purchase of groceries so your real investment was $50.00.

There is much much more, but here is not the place. I will do a webinar on it very soon.

Our forex trading strategy, Sharak's Grids have been kicking. Dr. Bob's Daily FX and Free Forex Forum have been keeping us up to date on new grid breaks, and lets us know how the old ones are doing!

The EURO- We had a grid break 7 days ago which is now up 235 pips. We are still in this trade.

The POUND- No grid breaks in over a week. It's been moving but not giving any entrances. To gain an entrance into this run, one would have had to have gone to a lowe light and found a way in.

The E/J- Same deal here as with the pound. It gave us a nice entrance but then we got kicked out with an opposing candle. You would have had to enter this on a lower light to take advantage of the run.

The GRAVEYARD- Nice Grid break 7 days ago. We are up over 340 pips and running. Let'er ride!!

The ROO- 13 days ago we entered, no up around 350 piperonies!

The CHEESE- Entered two days ago on a beautiful full gamut entrance. Up around 50 pips and still in it.

Things are moving very nicely now. Getting lots of great grid breaks. Our forex trading strategy is kickin!!

Welcome to the Daily FX and Free Forex Forum. Our Forex trading strategies have been working well for the last week or so.

The EURO- The EURO went into a long trade 5 days ago. Its still in that trade. As of this very moment we are up 160 pips with 80 of them protected with stop at break even and monies banked.

The POUND- There is a trigger break, and all sars are in agreement. There are no grid breaks at the moment. There is a woodie about to occur, and a bollinger candle breakout. There are a lot of ducks, but not all of them. You can take it. I'll pass.

The E/J- Three days ago we had a grid break, bollinger break, all sars in agreement, and a power arrow. You don't get more confirmations than that.

The GRAVEYARD- Five days ago we had a grid break that gave us 60 pips and now 150 more, with the 60 protected.
We are kickin today!!

The ROO- About 12 days or so ago we had out entrance and we are currently up well over 200 pips with most of it protected.

The CHEESE- There was a grid and trigger break two days ago. A power arrow two days before that. Sars are in agreement.

Welcome to the Daily FX and Free Forex Forum. Well we are back into the daily postings of the daily chart grids.
Seminars are now over for a couple of months, and its back to our Grid/ Forex Trading Strategy.

The EURO- This one took a trade 3 days ago. We are still in it. Up 100 banked pips so far.

The POUND- No qualified trades in a week or so. Not in any positions now.

The GRAVEYARD- We are up 100 pips right now, with 60 locked in. Our stop is at break even. We are good.

The ROO- Last trade on the roo was about a week ago. We took 100 pips on it and got stopped out at break even.

The CHEESE- No trades in the CHEESE for about a week and a half. Be patient cheese hopper.

Things are moving fairly well now. Holidays over, seminars over, pairs moving in a more predictable manner. I am using the new grids that Sharak put up two weeks ago for our forex trading strategy and they appear to be working quite well.

This is a great time for me right now as I am still pretty stoked up from the seminar. I was in the room tonite at around 3am.
James Lee, and Robert Sample were both there as well as Jeanine (JJ). James and Robert were both at the seminar. I think everyone there was pretty amazed at how much you get out of a seminar as compared to the webinars. The same stuff sinks in, but at a seminar it sinks in instantly. Light bulbs go off. In the webinars, most tell me it is more of a gradual awakening.
If I had to guess at the reason for that, I would think it is because in a seminar, we walk right up to your desk and see if you are really following what we are doing. We go to your charts to see if you have the correct indicators or grids showing. In other words, in a seminar environment, we have enough control that we can be absolutely positive that...

NOBODY GETS LEFT BEHIND

The seminar student see's this very quickly and develops confidence know that this will not be just another seminar that he goes home from still in the dark. Still not knowing what he is doing. Still searching, hoping that one day he will find it.
They went home in profit from this seminar.

And the rest of us have profited too. I for one have seen the importance of lining up Hanna and her ducks when testing the profitablity of the Grid's Complete or any other forex trading strategy for that matter.
If every duck is in line, it add's no less than 15% to your profitability curve.
So let's get those little quackers trained in the grids as well as the autumns. Hmmmm? I sure hope ducks can multi-task.

Back from the seminar!

Well it's is back from another exhausting/empowering/fabulous seminar!
These things do a combination of beating the hell out of me and making me feel like I have all the strength in the world.
Everyone went coo coo for the buffets. They always do. We gave more personal attention to the attendees than before. This crew needed it though. Most of this stuff was all new to them.
Most of them did not really have much of a forex strategy in place at all.
With the exception of one of them. I forget if it was John Chapman or Maris?
But one of them was using the Picasso. I was a combination of thrilled and surprised.
Our legacy still exists in the Premieretrade world.

Hello Everyone! Welcome to the Daily FX and Free Forex Forum. All analysis that you see posted here is done off of the Day chart using grid numbers given out today and posted on the forum.

The EURO- Southside grid break 7 days ago. Went to target two days later for 100 pips. Nothing new since.

The POUND- No grid breaks in over a week.

The E/J- After a very profitable southside run on a trend friendly short trade gave us a profit of ***545 pips***. Yesterday gave us a Northside entry that is hoping for a retracement. Tread carefully.

The GRAVEYARD- Up 240 pips so far in a southside trade started 13 days ago.

The ROO- Still in the Northbound trade that began 5 days ago. We are up 70 pips so far with stops at breakeven.

The CHEESE- Last trade on the CHEESE was about 7 days ago. We ended up with 170 pips in profit. Not in any trades now.

Things seem to be evening out a bit Vampires. The patterns are starting to get a little bit easier to notice. That is good news for the accuracy of our forex trading strategies.

Welcome to the Daily Fx and Free Forex Forum!!
This week has had some hard time channeling followed by a lot of quick big moves that did not really give you much in the way of entrances. Last nite I was fooling around a bit and got some pieces of some moves by going down to the 15 and the 30 minute lites.
I wouldn't swear by that though. I normally don't do it (boredom last nite!), but last nite I did. Results were good last nite, but I cannot tell you that it always or even usually works. I will continue experimenting.

The EURO- Yesterdays trade on the EURO continues. As of this very moment we are up 142 pips. Stops are set at b/e.

The POUND- Stopped out of our long trade with 50 pips profit. Stop was of course at b/e.

The E/J- Just entered short, with both a grid break and a breakfast break. Short looks like the way to go on this one.

The GRAVEYARD- We are still in a short trade on the GRAVEYARD with 115 pips banked and stops set at b/e.

The Roo- The ROO gave a short entrance on yesterdays candle. It is counter trend, but a nice grid break. I am not getting much in the way of confirmations. If I were to take it, I would take most of the money at first target.

The CHEESE- Nothing, the CHEESE stinks.

If this market teaches us one thing, it's that when the market it wonky,, demand multiple confirmations. It will probably keep you out of many trades, but those you do take will have a higher success probability. Stick close to your forex trading strategy and don't bend rules to the liberal side. Liberal thinking always is screwy. Instead keep your trades to the conservative side.
Slow and steady gains. That is the name of the game.

Welcome to the Daily FX and Free Forex Forum. Good to see you!
I am still seeing some low volume moves, but for the most part, I am seeing a lot of caution in the moves. Lots of channeling. Contrarians Forex Trading Strategies are working well now. Up until first target that is. I am keeping my trade volumes low till next week.

The EURO- We are still in a Southbound trade on this one. It is 7 days later and we are still at break even. We have not yet hit first target. I will take advantage of fortunate circumstances and "Git out of Dodge!"

The POUND- Our Northbound trade has hit first target and has not moved much since then. We are still in it.

The E/J- Nothing new is happening. No trades, nothing.

The GRAVEYARD- Up 115 pips on our southbound trade. Up 65 on what is left with stops at b/e.

The Roo- Still in Northbound trade. Up 180 pips. Balance is still up about 120 pips. Stops at b/e.

The CHEESE- Nothing new to report on the suissey. Apparently dormant for a bit.

The patterns that we are seeing now are low volume patterns, as players start to filter back into the market after their little winter vacations. As the week progresses we should see increases in volume. By next week, I am predicting normal market volumes.

Hello Vampires and welcome back to the Daily FX and Free Forex Forum. Hope you all enjoyed the holidays. Here is what I see today. I will be going very lightly till the market has picked some direction and the volumes have become a little more stable.

The EURO- It looks like we are going to have a long entry on the EURO. It is counter trend. I'll pass.

The POUND- Four candles ago, we had our entrance, and another one today. No real trend.

The E/J- Short entrance two days ago. Looks like we have an opposing long entry to cancel it out. Long entry very counter trend.

The GRAVEYARD- Short entry five candles ago. Still in the trade.

The ROO- Long entry two days ago. Still in the trade. Up over 100 pips.

The CHEESE- It is giving us a short entry. There is no trend at the present. If I had to call a trend on this one, I would call it a Northie. I'll pass.

Carefull with your trades Vampires. The market is first trying to settle itself after the holidays. Volume is starting to come back and our Forex Trading Strategies are beginning to test themselves again. All in all, things are looking good.

Hello and welcome toThe Daily FX and Free Forex Forum. Volumes continue to drop in the Forex mareket and most forex trading strategies will tell you to start tightening up on your stops or to consider taking profit.
We at the VTN are in agreement. We have pulled some positions and severely tightened up on others.
We are severely in profit for the month and we don't want to give it all back.
We will continue to show the new entries, but be aware we are taking them with EXTREMELY light positions. (What the heck, ya got to be in it to win it! Even to win a tiny bit is fun!)

The EURO- We have been in this trade for a bunch of days now and we are up 320 pips. We were up 400 pips but we are in a retracement right now. Profits are protected and pulls have been made.

The POUND- Same as the EURO. Profits were taken at 120 pips B/E is protected.

The E/J- Quiet for now, no trades

The GRAVEYARD- Yesterday we pulled our position with just under 50 pips in profit. If you held it you are 17 pips in profit. We didn't trust it and now we trust it even less.

The ROO- 170 pips are protected on the Roo. 50 are still left on the table. Make sure you have stops at breakeven if that is in your trading plan.

Sometimes pulling a trade whether it be in profit or loss is one of the hardest things for a professional forex trader to do.
It is really no easier for the professional trader than it is for the hobbyist online forex trader. The mind is the biggest and hardes thing for the trader to overcome and unless you put severe effort into it, it will continue to be an albatross around your neck.
Any fool can get into a trade, but it takes the severe disciplined trader to know where to get out of one.

It's back to the dentist to get my bridge/cap put back on three lower molars. They put it on last Thursday, and it fell off on Saturday< I thinks>.
They are going to have to drill one of the teeth. Problem there is the anasthetic doesn't seem to work on me any more.

Hello Vampires, and welcome to the Daily FX and Free Forex Forum. Not a whole lot going on tonite.
The volumes are dropping consistently as we near the coming Christmas Holiday. This is very normal for this time of year and it is a good thing if you are not waiting to trade till after, to lower your lottages. The movements in low volume time periods can be quite erratic and seemingly without cause.

The EURO- Nothing new, it has been in a short trade for a few days and it continues. At this very moment you are up 350 pips.

The POUND- Nothing new, other than further confirmations of the short trade we are already in. At the present moment we are up 125 pips. We show a new Sharak break, and a BB break. Profits have been protected.

The E/J- Nothing doing, all quiet. Not in any trades and will probably not accept any new ones till January.

The GRAVEYARD (GBP/JPY)- If you are still in the short trade (we pulled it yesterday with 40 pips profit), you might consider pulling it now as you are 60 pips in profit and the darn thing is just a bunch of doji's right now.

The ROO (AUD/USD)- Three day old trade with 175 pips protected and 138 pips showing on the board right now. Easy peezy to take it all. Your decision.

The CHEESE (USD/CHF)- Been in this trade for ten days with 330 pips protected. You have 335 on the table right now. We just might take em.

There you have it for the daily fx and free forex forum. We are heavily in profit and it just might be time to consider pulling the monies left on the table and saying merry christmas. We have pulled most positions. Today we will decide on the rest. As per our forex trading strategy, we have lowered lottages and tightened stops on what is left.

Hello Vampires and welcome to the Daily FX and Free Forex Forum. It is close to X-Mas and volumes have been slowing down. You can see the slowdown in some of the whipsaws especially on the lower lites. The higher time frames seem to absorb it better and you see much less of the erratic motion.

Of course it usually makes more sense to trade the higher time frames due to the filtering of noise that is inherent in their nature,

BUT SOMETIMES THE SCALPING LIFE IS JUST SO MUCH FUN!

For now, this analysis is done off of the daily charts with Sharaks Grids, John's Big Breakfast, Power Arrows, Hanna's Waltz, and Woodie settings CCI as the forex trading strategy.

The EURO- Still in the short trade from two days ago. It gave us a grid and a bb break as well as full Sars confirmations. No power arrow, but it was in the trendal direction. We have 90 pips banked, and at this very moment we have 142 pips. We are now in a no lose trade.

The POUND- We are still in the short trade started on the 8th I believe. We have 120 pips banked and a stop at breakeven. This is now a no lose trade.

The E/J- No trades on the E/J

The GRAVEYARD (GBP/JPY)- I am up 40 pips from a southbound trade initiated on 12/8/11. I just pulled it. It is floundering to much. It will probably hit first target, but what the heck. I got to sleep at day light. Let me sleep peaceful.

The ROO (AUD/USD)- Southbound trade from two days ago just hit first target. Up 70 pips and stop is now at break even.

The CHEESE (USD/CHF)- Been in a Northbound trade since the 2nd. Up about 230 pips Grid break, and trendal direction were the only confirmations. Recieved a BB break two days ago as further confirmation.

And there you have it vampires. No new trades but the old ones are rocking!!

I have been watching a four hour chart and for the last 16 hours I have seen very little movement.

It is a week or two before Christmas and traders are already starting to get a little itchy in their trading patterns. Many have let their forex trading strategies go to hell and have given in instead to emotional trading. You can see it in the whipsaw movements many of the pairs have been suffering from.

Well, the good thing is that you have the daily fx/ forex forum to give you hints into how Hanna and myself have been trading.

Lower lights is the key to this one. You can keep your strategy the same, but lower your time frames.
I am as usual using the grids, combined with the breakfast and power arrows. I have added the woodie cci to it also to see if it gives me another point of view.

For the most part if I keep very rigidly to my forex trading strategy I can stay a few pips ahead. I have been doing this on a one minute lite since Sunday and I am up 58 pips which is very acceptable for this time of year.

I don't know if the others in the room have been mirroring my trades but I have been calling them at time of entry and exit.

Remember Vampires, lower lights, smaller lottage. Middle of January, things should go back to normal.

Hello and welcome to the Daily FX and Free Forex Forum. All fx analysis is done off of the day chart using sharaks grids, the BB, and Power Arrows.

The EURO- seems to be a nice strong grid break and a BB break. We do not however have a power arrow as the trade would be a continuation

The POUND- Still in a trade from a few days ago, but it was without a Power Arrow or a bb break. It looks like a good shot to first target.

The E/J- We have a power Arrow and a BB break. We do not have a grid break though. Two out of three ain't bad. But it's not good enough for me.

The GRAVEYARD- Still in a southbound grid break, with no other confirmations. Risky trade.

The ROO- Good grid break to the south. SoSo BB break and no power arrow, in fact, an opposing power arrow. It might go to first, but I will sit this one out.

The CHEESE- Nice grid break. Good BB break. No power arrow, but it is continuing in the direction of the trade.

Two out of three aint bad? Well it depends, but it is getting real close to X-Mas and volumes could become sketchy. I think I want all three indicators before I take a trade. If you have a forex trading strategy that requires three indicators, especially in low volume times.
You might want to use all indicators at your disposal.

One of the fun things about doing the daily fx and free forex forum is recounting the EURO session from the night before. Sometimes there is a lot doing and sometimes it was fairly quiet. Last night it was somewhere in the middle. The trades we put on friday from the day chart were all closed out. Two in profit, one in loss. All told a profit of 30 pips net.

This is what went on in the room last nite. It was quiet. Ray, Tio, and Me were the only ones there.
I am really liking that one minute thingy. Not making a ton of pips with it. But making a few pips each night. For a really simple forex trading strategy, its fun.

I'm a bit late today. Dentist had me knocked silly for hours. Let's see if we can pick up the slack from yesterday afternoon.

The EURO- The EURO had a grid break yesterday afternoon. If you like it, it has not moved more than 5 pips as I am looking at it now. Not sure how far it will go, but first target looks pretty good. I will use the Sharak scale out tool.

The POUND- Grid break on the POUND. It has not moved more than ten pips and right now is right where it started at entry. First target is not looking bad if it goes to the south side.

The E/J- The E/J is sleeping for now. It looks like it is trying for the grid below. No grid or BB breaks for now. Will keep you posted.

The GRAVEYARD- The GRAVEYARD is in an interesting pattern right now. It has a southside grid break which follows a northbound retracement which went to the 50% level and now appears to be reversing and going back to its original trend. Now, we do not have a BB break or a complete SAR agreement. You have one out of three confirmations. Up to you. I am going to throw a micro on it.

The Roo- Yesterdays grid break has gone to target. I even checked the four hour to see if I could find a "cheat" entrance.

The Cheese- The Cheese was in a northbound trade which went to first target and then was stopped out in profit when the trade reversed and hit the break even level.

Lots of good trades out there tonight. Many of them are short first target movements. Our forex trading strategies are perfect for these short tight movements. Luckily our forex trading strategies are adaptable for the lower lights as well as their ability to nail it on the upper lights. You will never have the same accuracy on the lower lights as you will on the uppers, but we have been kickin it on the one and the four hour while we wait for markets to resume trend.

Analysis of a penney a day doubled for 30 days. Here is the situation:
I give you the choice of taking one penney a day doubled for thirty days, or one million dollars in cash right now. That means at the end of the first day, my penney becomes two pennies, the second day my two pennies becomes four pennies, and so on and so on for a month.
If you havent seen this, the results might be of interest. If you have seen this, then you already know, dont take the million!
This is a drastic demonstration of the results of compounding.

20 pips a day for one year= 5200 Pips, a worthy sum, that will create millions of dollars, and you don't need 100% interest per day. It might take a teeny tiny bit more than one month though.
Remember with the power arrow combo forex trading strategy that we are using now, we have a great degree of accuracy. I am finding 20 pips a day rather easily. I am cherry picking my trades and only taking them if each and every duck is in a row.
Sometimes, I will go to a lower chart and demand that each duck is in a row there also. I still get the occasional head fake, but they are occasional. My wins are better than my losses.

It went ok, ended up with 25 pips, but the charts were rough.
Ray Cambell and I were the only ones awake in the room. Thank the stars for the Power Arrow Combo trade. I am really starting to think it is the best Forex Trading Strategy around.
Yes, it requires a lot of confirmation, but when you get it, it is really rare that it does not hit first target.
We played the Euro and had 4 winners and one loser. Luckily the loser got cut almost right away by another opposite power arrow.

Had a bunch of head fakes, and a couple of small runs, but in general the market was stagnant.

All trades discussed on this forum are using the sharak grid trade strategy with the power arrows and the big breakfast used as confimations. These are the trades that I find good enough to enter.

The EURO- the EURO is not moving much at the moment and has been in tight rangebound channel for a few days. I am expecting a break out on Sunday or Monday.

The POUND- the POUND is showing no new grid breaks.

The EJ- The EJ has been in a trade for 4 days. First target achieved for a total of 90 pips. Stops are at breakeven

The GRAVEYARD- the GRAVEYARD is dead. We are down to bare bones at the GRAVEYARD.

The ROO- I don't see nothing new, on the ROO

The CHEESE- The CHEESE still stinks.

All pairs seem to be in a position of tight consolidations. It requires patience in this or any other Forex Trading Strategy to wait it out until the right trade situation appears.
Remember for maximum safety, I use a combination of indicators for an entry. I like the grid break, the bb Bolinger break, combined with a power arrow. When I get them all we got so many ducks I can't hear myself think. But those are the trades that I go a little heavier on.

Welcome to Dr. Bob's Daily FX and Free Forex Forum. The chart reviews That I will be giving are based on Sharaks Grid Trade Strategy, using the Big Breakfast and Power Arrows for confirmations.

The EURO- No trades on the EURO at this time. There was a grid break but it went to completion .

The POUND- The POUND started its last trade on the 14th of November with a beautiful grid break that yielded 355 pips to the south. That trade just got stopped out in profit with the northside straddle. Any remaining lots were monetized with 210 pips. Great trade Vampires.

The E/J- This one is in a northside trade that began with a straddle on the 28th. It is a retracement trade that has reached the 38% level. Tighten your stops or pull the trade now in profit is what we will do. It is currently in profit for 40 pips.

The GRAVEYARD- The YARD has just been stopped out in profit on a trade that began on the 9th. It achieved 355 banked pips and the remaining lots were just stopped out with 200 pips

The ROO- Last trade on the Aussie began on the 15th and yielded almost 700 pips. All northbound trades after that were negated by the candles almost reaching target.

The CHEESE- For now, the CHEESE stinks, nothing new for a while. Give it time to decide on a direction

Tough trading these past few weeks, but we have muddled our way through it, by paying strict attention to our forex trading strategy.
No trades are being taken unless they have a combination of a grid break, breakfast break, and a power arrow. Anything not having all ducks in a row, if we should decide to trade it are traded with minimum lottage. To Make More Money in Forex, patience is a virtue.

JJ and James were in the chat with me last night, on the one minute lite vigil. James did great, and he ended up the night up over $350 bucks or so.

JJ and I did ok too. I ended up about 26 pips up for the night.
We were both having trouble with Alpari not letting us out of trades. I could have done about 32-35 pips if things were working ok.

Glad to see that both JJ and James have a clear understanding of the one minute thingy. JJ commented in the room that, "The 1 goes awfully fast, but I get the hang of it. It does keep you awake!"

One of the many beauties of the one minute thingy is that it gives extremely good accuracy for a one minute forex trading strategy.
On top of that it gives remarkably easy to follow entry signals.
I have been using the grids for my exits, and it seems to work very well.

I set Sharak's Scale Out Tool at the beginning of the night to my EURO one minute grids, and off I go.

It's now about 4:30 and the push seems to have died out. Time to get a little writing done. See yaz later Vamps.

All forex trade analysis is done using a combination of the Big Breakfast, Sharaks Grid Trades, Power Arrows, and Parabolic Sars.

The EURO- The EURO has been in the same trade since the 14th, and currently is up 390 banked pips.

The POUND- The POUND has also been in a trade since the 14th, and is currently up 390 banked pips, (deja -vu!)

The EUR/JPY- The E/J is currently in a northbound trade since the 28th. The trade broke a grid, but did not give any other confirmations. The trade is still going, if fact it is at break even right now. We passed on this trade due to lack of confirmations.

The GRAVEYARD- The GRAVEYARD gave multiple entrances starting at the 9th with various degrees of confiming tummy warmers. Depending on how warm you wanted your tummy to be, you would have garnered between 250 and 355 pips with this forex trading strategy.

THE ROO- Go look at my report on the GRAVEYARD, its exactly the same down to the pips!

THE CHEESE- We are currently in a Northbound trade which is now in the negative around 65 pips. The go for gold line is holding it steady so far, but it is having trouble breaking up as it is right up against a strong grid. Choices: stops and limits set, leter run. Choice 2: Pull it now as the rest are up a huge amount and will EASILY absorb the small loss and still leave us with HUGE profits. If we took the loss now, we would be up just over 1500 pips, hehehe. Not to shabby.

The market in general is in a consolidation this week so far. If it breaks out, I will expect it to be about Thursday. Keep an open eye for unexpected breakouts. I will post them as soon as I see them both here on the blog and in the room as well

It is just a bit after 3 AM, and I am at my post on the one minute lite, trading the new one minute thingy.
I also have up grids picked tonite just for this, a big breakfast trigger, the power arrow, three sets of parabolics, and the VTN foresight.

The standard parabolic sars in white, a backup confirmation in dark orange at .01, and an exit signal in red set to .03.

My grids are set at

1.33694

1.33628

I have just achieved a pinch and a power arrow to the long side. I entered the trade and it went south right away, (that'll build your confidence!), and gave strong closes under the 5 ema. I considered puling it, but that is not really my rule. That was Johns thing on the big breakfast. I waited, and I now have a close above the go for gold line. I am on the 9:20 candle, Alpari time. No time to figure it out now.

Sharaks scale out tool is enabled and I gave me a perfect ten pip stop loss, which, lol, I am about to hit. So far tonite, I have had two good trades and one bad. I am up around 9 pips .

We have another pinch, and the candles seem to be going North. At first I was down 9 pips, but now it is only 3 pips. We have another close above the five and the go for gold line. Foresight is flipping colors rapidly. The candles are floating up and down, no real direction. To the right of the power arrow, it is just a big long channel.

This is a very cool forex trading strategy, and a great one to document on this fx forum.

Strong pinch now, just hit break even and I am up 33 bucks. Bucking against the grid line and sunk down to 9 dollars. The money is flipping up and down. SCALE OUT TOOL ENABLED.

Am not yet in the negative, and its going back and forth, in the money then out.

Now at break even.

I have the blog entry right on the mt4 screen so I can type what I see.

Probably should have pulled at the grid. But had good continuation signals. 20/20 hindsight.

Still getting closings over the 5 ema and the go for gold line. Four pips down, and sinking.\

The new exit parabolic just flipped, and we have a close under the go for gold and the 5 EMA.

Stop losses are set, so I will just sit it out and use this as an experiment.

I am on a demo account.

I am down 4 pips, but there is a spread in there too. Not bad, it looks much worse than it is down here on the one minute. It is stuck against a grid and trying to push its way up now. Just broke it, and I am now down one pip.

All my sars except the exit sar, have now flipped, and I am in profit, exit sar just flipped.

I am approaching grid again and will pull at first grid.

DARN, SUCKER WOULD NOT LET ME OUT. THIRD TRY, WONT LET ME OUT.

Am now at break even. OK, up 30 bucks, gonna pull, cant risk playing for more with Alpari behaving like this. 2nd try, it just let me out, got the 30.

Really starting to hate this Alpari platform. Am strongly considering the ILQ platform that John is pushing and Paul from Back Bay says he gets nothing but good reviews from it.

Ended up with 30 bucks profit from this one. Not bad as I sit here and write at the same time.

Very easy to follow. Easy entrance signals, easy exit signals.

All in all, it was kind of fun.

All in all, it works pretty well, as long as you dont get greedy with your exits. Remember you are on a one minute lite. 5 pips on a one minute is not bad. Dont go for huge targets, there is to much noise down here. Got 8 pips on this short. Went real fast.

Stops tight, profits low.

More pips is not always safe pips, but safe pips always give you more.

The Pound- Also in this since the 14th. 398 banked pips, still in trade.

The EJ- We have been in this one since the 7th. To date, we have banked 498 pips

The Graveyard- This trade began on the 9th. So far we are up around 360 pips

The Roo- The 24th was day one for the roo. Still in the trade and up around 150 pips

The Cheese- Long trade started on the 25th. Slighly in the negative right now. Considering that we are up around 1500 pips on the others, one might consider taking a loss of a hundred pips, and not worry about it!

Hello Vampires!
Welcome to the Daily FX and FX Forum.
Back from the conference at Arugula or where ever the heck it was we went. I know it was a small Island twenty minutes by ferry from St. Martin. Food was great if you are into fish, disaster if you are into anything else other than fish, lol.

All the meat on the island is imported, and it tastes it. I tried cooking breakfast for us, but everything has some sort of gritty taste. Butter and Cream all had a brownish tinge to it, and tasted kind of weird.
They do know how to cook a fish over there and they also know how to charge you top dollar for it.

All in all from a business learning point of view it was a rousing success. We learned two income generators that are somewhere beyond fantastic, and we will start to teach them to you this week, if I can put a lesson plan together fast enough, or next Monday the very latest. I will be working on it all night tonight.

I am in the room, looks like it is just John and I. Hanna is here to but she is not signed in.

If anyone wants to trade the new Power Arrow, I have found it to be very effective when used at the London Open, almost like a Darvis.

JUST WENT LONG ON THE POWER ARROW EURO AT ABOUT 3:34, WILL GO FOR 8 OR 10 PIPS USING GRIDS AND FIBS TO DETERMINE EXIT. JUST REACHED TOP OF SECOND BOZONE LINE.

Hello Vampires, and welcome from the Island of Anguilla a short ferry from St Martin.
John heads back today. We are taking him to the ferry at 11 am Anguilla time.
Hanna and I head back on Wednesday.

The seminar just ended last night and it was great. We have a fabulous vehicle for earnings and we will teach it to all of you if you have interest

We traded last night and did ok. Not a lot of moves, (Thanksgiving week). We ended up with something like 12 pips. Not really worth staying up for, but at this point I am pretty much nocturnal anyway.

I didn't trade them, but I just took a look at the day chart.

HOLEY CRAP BATMAN!!

There was over a thousand pips to be made last week to now. Should have had that darn conference in a week from now, so I could have grabbed em!

You guys will love that one minute thingy we are working on. I will go over it with you guys again on Monday. Don't worry Chris, we will make sure you are up on EVERYTHING that we are. (Hanna says HI!!)

I just got a letter from Larry saying he is kicking butt on the day chart, hasnt had a bad trade in about two weeks I think he said. I have to read his slant on it.

Well, we just finished day one of the internet marketing seminar.
Going really well.
I have been trading all night every day we have been here.
( I even trade during the seminar, I always have my charts up, lol)
Trading is going well. I have been playing with that new one minute thingy, and I am up around 55 pips since Wednesday. I was dying to trade last nite, but I still used the nite for back testing. I actually think we might have a viable forex trading strategy.

Now, in the title there, it says, "Hello Vampires from the Island of Anguilla!"
That is incorrect. I have not met any Vampires from the Island of Anguilla.

The story of St. Martin

Well Guys,
We made it to Anguilla, or is it Angola, or Arugala? Nope, I remember, it was Artichoke!
Beautiful island about a twenty minute boat ride from Saint Martin. We did think it funny that not one single person on the whole darn island knew who St. Martin was!
Don't worry, I told them, he is the patron saint of soldiers and horses. He was cannonized because when he was a soldier in the army of Rome, he came upon a beggar with no cloak to shield him from the cold.
Martin took off his own cloak and cut it in half to share with the beggar.
That night, he had a dream that Jesus had come to him and thanked him for sharing his fine Roman Soldiers cloak with him.
He awoke in the morning with his own cloak restored.
Very cool story.
Amazing no one here knows it!

The EURO- Yesterdays southbound grid break has gone to completion giving us a total so far of 70 pips and we are still in the trade with stops at break even.

The POUND- Southbound grid break on the POUND has completed giving us 65 pips

The EJ (EUR/JPY)- Yesterdays southbound grid break would give a total of 78 pips if it hits first target. I just pulled at 70. I am getting edgy watching it flounder. Stops are set at breakeven. Five units still available in the trade.

The GRAVEYARD (GBP/JPY)- Stopped out of the southbound trade on the 9th with 30 pips. Would have a hundred by now, but rules are rules. I don't take second entrances.

The ROO (AUD/USD)- Nothing new on the ROO. Ain't in no trades, don't see no breaks so there ain't no trades I gonna takes!

The CHEESE (USD/CHF)- Nothing Cheesy today doth please me. No cheesy trades today. They all stink.

Hiya Vampires!

Had a totally cool night last night. The room was quiet, but JJ was there with me, at least semi-awake.
I spent most of the night playing with the new Triple Header Version of the combined Grid-Bullet-Breakfast Trade.

If that sounds a bit confusing, it's because that is a bit confusing.
Don't worry, you still haven't drank to much. Or maybe you have.
Can you still walk a straight line. If you don't want to, you could still have one more. If you think that walking that line might be fun, you're drunk.

The triple header is when you demand a silver-bullet entry, combined with a grid break entry, combined with a big breakfast bollinger break-out. All three must be in alignment in order for you to have an entry.

If I am bored out of my skull, I will enter with only two of the criteria met, but then I lower my lottage by 1/2.

The rules are still being established, but I have ended up with 26 pips in about a zillion trades.
I traded from 2 am eastern to 4:30 am eastern.

I have to tell you, it was fun. It was easy. It takes concentration, very much like a video game.

I enjoy forex trading strategies like this. People enjoy trading them because they are fun and they occupy your time a lot. They make you feel like you are doing something. Trading the Daily FX can be a boring almost ritualistic event on the higher lights, but on the lowers, they are a blast. (but we still make the real money on the highers)(don't mean we can't have fun on the lowers though!!)

Now, Hanna, John, and myself are headed for the island of Anguilla for the next few days. We are taking courses on internet marketing which we will teach to you guys.

John will make sure that we are playing archives on the days we are gone.

We have some really great money makers for you guys coming up. All to do with the Vampire Trading Networks soon to be announced new marketing plan,

Take the Day Off Guys, It's a Holiday

Friday is veterans day, an official bank holiday.
As we have found out many times in the past, during bank holidays, trade volumes drop drastically.

The members of this Forex Forum are well aware that when volumes are low that foreign currency pairs can have wild and eratic movements, sometimes based on nothing that we can see.
There is usually an agenda, but we are not always aware of what it is.

A medium size hedge fund can move the market quite a bit when they are not competing against every large bank and brokerage house in the world. So one big buy or sell and all the forex trading strategies in the world fall apart as the pair starts on Mr. Toads Wild Ride!

Now, half of you will now have to deal with the guilt of not working one day. "But, I am a trader" you say. "I can't be a trader if I am not trading. Where do I go to have this holiday cancelled"?

Hmmmm?, Lately I'm pretty sure the white house would be willing to cancel Veterans Day. They might even replace it with Ramadan or National Athiests day.

Darn, they would only make that a bank holiday too, so we still can't trade.

The Perfect Storm Winds Down

It's 3:30 am and all is well.

I am looking now at the charts. Our SWISSY trade that we all made the other day is now up about 140 pips. Money has already been banked. If we get stopped out now, we will get stopped out with an extra hundred pips on our remaining lots.
Hurray for the Sharak Scale Out Tool!

The EURO continues on its downward cycle. It was a perfect storm entrance on the four hour light. I have just recieved an opposing VTN engine, which will end this trade with 140 pips.
That trade has given us a grid entrance, a silver bullet entrance, and a big breakfast entrance.
A triple play!

If you entered the POUND on the four hour lite, You just got an exit signal in the form of an opposing vtn engine. In this case, it was the BB that gave our entrance, and an opposing VTN engine that gives us our exit with 80 pips.

If you entered the Cheese on a four hour BB entrance, that trade is now over with a VTN Engine giving you an opposing signal. We walk away with 44 pips. Better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick.!
Though, that can be nice too.

We are having an insanely good night. The week started off slowly, but has picked up momentum quickly. Consolidations just might be the order of the week for now.

Following Forex hours is not the easiest thing you can put your body through Ron. Use the Sharak Scale Out Tool and you don't have to babysit the trade after you install it on the trade chart and set the parameters.

You will need to know the length of the grid in pips, and not much more.

The EURO- We had a valid south side entrance today. It appears to have been part of a retrace, but it has continues and closed beneath the 61% level. We could be seeing a reversal.

The POUND- A very nice southside entrance has presented itself, with the lower end breaking through the Breakfast entrance also

The EJ (EUR/JPY)- The EJ has a valid southbound entrance, which closed outside the bollinger, and broke a grid, and has the Sars in its favor, and has a beauty of a Silver Bullet entrance too. A real beauty, but this ain't no darn beauty contest now, is it?

The GRAVEYARD (GBP/JPY)- There is now a southbound trade which began this afternoon. No
Silver Bullet, no Bollinger Break. No thank you.

The ROO (AUD/USD)- Southbound break on Halloween night. spooooooookyyyyyyyyy! But spooky or not, we got 380 pips since the trades inception.

The CHEESE (USD/CHF)- has been in a southbound trade also since Halloween, and has garnered aver 400 pips so far. Hehehehehehehe,

The EURO- Now new grid breaks on the EURO. Relax let it consolidate, and we will check it again later in the week.

The POUND- Still in a northbound trade from the 3rd. Up 60 pips so far. Consider if you want to stay in it as it is moving very slowly.

The EJ- No current grid breaks. Not in any past trades.
The Graveyard- Currently in a Northbound trade from the 3rd. It's going nowhere. Just about at breakeven now.

The Roo- Still in a southbound trade. 230 pips locked and banked. Stop at breakeven.

The Cheese- Northbound trade from 4 days ago. Still in it, and it is now verified by the Big Breakfast, another grid break, and parabolics.
It's looking pretty good. It has pulled back providing another entrance. 2nd entrances historically have not been as reliable as 1st entrance. Up to you!

Trend trading is a wonderful thing when the trends present themselves. However, not everything trends the way we want it to. In those cases, Sharaks Grid Trade is one of the only forex trading strategies that will allow you to navigate small movements with relative safety. If you are going to play the little ones, consider going down to a lower light.

Hello Vampires,
Here is todays dose of my Daily FX Analysis. These are the trades that I look at for my own daily trading. Most are based on Sharaks Grid Trade System grid breaks. But occasionaly I will take trades on the Big Breakfast. I will often take Classic trades also.
ALL DAILY FX ANALYSIS IS TAKEN OFF OF THE DAY CHART, AND ALL GRIDS ARE ADJUSTED TO BE AS CLOSE AS POSSIBLE TO THE 12 PERIOD ATR.
The EURO- The short trade from 7 days ago was just stopped out at breakeven two days ago, locking in a profit of 120 pip. No new grid breaks. Relax, towards the end of the week we should see some breakouts.

The POUND- We are currently in a long trade on the POUND due to a grid break that occurred four days ago.

The EJ (EUR/JPY)- No current grid breaks, and no trades running at present.

The GRAVEYARD (GBP/JPY)- We are currently in a long trade that started on the 3rd of November. At the moment we are up about 20 pips, but that could change, no pips are yet banked.

The ROO (AUD/USD)- We are currently in a short trade that started on Halloween. We have banked 220 pips. Stop is at breakeven and trade has been rangebound for the last 5 days.

The CHEESE (USD/CHF)- The CHEESE has been in a northbound trade for the last three days with about a hundred pips banked and stops are at breakeven.

Last week was a pretty good one, and for now most of the pairs are in a consolidation which seems to be taking the form of rangebound channels rather than pullbacks.
Channels can be fun and easy patterns to play. When they break out they tend to break out hard and fast. Be careful though, sometimes they fake to one direction and shoot to the other. Set your stop tight at the beginning, and loosen it a bit as your pip total builds.
Straddles can be interesting trades to play in rangebound situations, but don't set your entries to close or you might just get caught up in the initial head fake.

The EURO- Nothing new in the EURO. No new grid breaks. The breakfast bands are wide open and not yet ready for a good pinch. We will check it again tommorrow. When I am scanning my Daily FX charts, I go quickly past charts like this, and give them time to rest, recover, and move again.

The POUND- On the POUND we just got out of a southbound headfake. We now have a northbound entrance which appears to be heading up to complete a Marshalls Bell Curve strategy. It doesnt look bad, but I just hate trading into Friday and the weekend. Many forex pros would refuse this trade. Not all.

The EJ (EUR/JPY)- There is a northbound straddle but not strong enough to give a solid entry. When you take a trade that does not have all ducks lined up, you increase your risk of failure. Please lower you lottage severely. We are not gamblers. We are Forex Pros.

The GRAVEYARD (GBP/JPY)- This pair has such wild drastic moves. I almost hate to see a good solid entrance on this one. Unfortunatly, there is one today. It has been trending back up for the last five or six weeks. It retraced a few days back, and now it has a nice solid grid break, on its way to completing another Marshall's Bell Curve forex strategy.

The ROO (AUD/USD)- The ROO will give you nothing to do, boo hoo. No new grid breaks, no trade continuations, nuttin. How boring.

The Cheese (USD/CHF)- The CHEESE is giving a perplexing chart. It had been trending upwards for a few weeks and then down for two more. Up for 3 days and then a southside grid break apparently to challenge the 50% retracement that it had made on the way down. It should hit at least first target which is good for a hundred pips or so. (Wish it wasnt going into Friday.

Each day when I write the Daily FX, I have a perplexing situation at times. There are some grid breaks which because of other underlying circumstances, would not induce me into a trade. Now your typical forex forum just throws them all out with very little commentary, but you will notice they sweep it under the rug afterwards. Never to be discussed again.

I try to give my honest feelings of each trade to let you know whether or not I will be trading it. Feel free to take my forexpro advice and use it in your decision as to whether to trade or not.

The POUND- The Southbound trade on the POUND that began on November 1st continues. At the present moment it is up about 40 pips, but no monies have yet been locked.

The EUR/JPY- The Southbound trade on the POUND that began on November 1st continues. At the present moment it is up about 17 pips, but no monies have yet been locked.
NOTE: Substitute EUR/JPY everyplace in this paragraph that you see the word pound. I copied and pasted the post from the pound since it was the same stuff anyway to save me from having to do all of that typing. Good thinkin' !!

The GRAVEYARD (GBP/JPY)- All is quiet in the graveyard today. They must be tired after Halloween.

Go Go Roo, this is what we want you to do!

The Cheese (USD/CHF)- The Roo was has been in a Northbound trade since Halloween evening. It has locked in 160 pips. It is in a small retracement, but this is now a no lose trade with 160 pips already in the bank.
This Cheese don't stink.
Often times when doing the Daily FX Analysis we will find that after a move, the forex currency pair will rest. By resting we mean the pair will either consolidate by channeling or retracing.

Sharaks Grid Trade is a forex trading strategy that accounts for most consolidations and can save you a ton of lost pips by keeping you out of trades while they are in a channel pattern. It will also allow you to capture many of the retraces too.

Vampire Trading Networks Free Forex Alerts.

The EURO- This is a hard chart to read. You have a definitive grid break to the southbound side. Trend though is hard to determine. It is slightly North at this time. I will pass on this trade, to wishy washy.

The POUND- This one was entered in a Northbound trade on October 12th and as of now is up 415 pips. Way to go!!

The EURO/JPY- No new grid breaks or trades. We got stopped out of a trade that began on the 17th. The stop out occured on the 27th for a loss of about 250 pips. YOIKS!, lol.

The GBP/JPY- On the 17th we had a successful Southbound trade which provided us, the very next day with 90 pips. Nothing since then.

The AUD/USD- On the 21st we had a real good Northbound trade which yielded 250 pips. It is now giving a Southbound grid break entrance. If I take this it will be with low lottage. Again, trend is hard to determine.

The USD/CHF- We have a Northbound grid break. I am going to take this till first target which will yield 25 pips. At that time, I will move my stop to break even and pull 80% of the trade. I do not feel there is enough wiggle room to give the trade much of a chance to yield more.

Any good forex trading strategy takes the trend into account. Certain contrarian forex trading systems even count on a trade going against the trend in order to give them an entrance.

I will take trades that are against the trend, however, there will be a large reduction in the amount of lots that I will put on the trade. That way I get the fun of being in the trade, but at the same time, I have severely limited my amount of risk in the trade. This small bit of forex money management can save you tons of cash.

If you have not developed the trading discipline to trade lightly when conditions are not perfect, you are better off not trading at all, unless all ducks line up in a nice neat row.

The Vampire Trading Networks Free Forex Alerts

Hello Vampires, it's Sunday evening and I have just opened up my charts to take a looks see at what's what in Forex Trading tonight. The Vampires Trading Networks Free Forex Alerts have worked out very well so far netting over four hundred pips for those that followed them and used Sharaks Scale Out Tool. We shall see if we can beat that this week. Many of the trades have been going on for weeks now. That is definitely not something that we are used to. This trading off of the day chart is a new experience for most of us. It does however usually come with a hefty stop loss so make sure you adjust your lottage accordingly. Also reset your parameters for breakeven and grid size for each pair you trade using Sharaks Scale Out Tool.
And now, lets see some Charts!

The EURO (EUR/USD)- We have been in a North bound trade since October 12th. That trade continues. So far we are up 850 pips on that trade.

The POUND (GBP/USD)- There was a nice grid break on October 7th, but the wick went to close to first target which disqualified that candle for a trade. We did however recieve another qualified entrance four candles later on October 12th, the same as the EURO. We then exited the trade on the 26th when we encountered an opposing candle. The candle was good enough for an exit, but did not however qualify as an entrance candle due to its weakness on the North side of the candle.
The trade netted us 255 pips.

The GRAVEYARD, (GBP/JPY)- The Graveyard has not had any grid breaks in a few weeks and is therefore not presently in any trades. Its last grid break and therefore trade was South Bound on October 17th and the trade netted 85 pips.
The EJ, (EUR/JPY)- The EJ has had a bumby ride for a few days starting on October 10th when it got a Northbound entrace and rode it for an easy 130 pips. The trade was ended by an opposing straddle on the 13th.
We then got a Southside entrance on October 17th which turned out to be a fake and cost us 200 pips. It was a bummer but nothing in comparison to our gains.

The ROO (AUD/USD)- We have been in a Northbound trade on the ROO since October 21st and have locked in 250 pips. We are currently up at the time of this writing about 350 pips in total.
Yea Roo, lets see what you can do!

The CHEESE (USD/CHF)- No Grid Breaks on the CHEESE. All is quiet on the cheesey front.

When you go to make a comment on the blog, it will ask you for your google or AIM account and passwords. If you have one or the other just fill in the info. You will have to do this each time you make another comment. If you dont have a google or AIM account, it will let you sign up for one.

You can also comment without any accounts at all simply by picking anonymous when the dropdown asks for your account information. If you pick anonymous, please make sure to sign your post. Unsigned posts may be deleted.

EURO- We are still in a Northbound trade which started on the 12th. As of this point we are up over 400 protected pips.

POUND- Same deal, still in a trade since the 12th. We are up about 350 pips with 250 locked banked and protected.

EJ- Got stopped out of a short trade on the ej. Took a hit of 200 pips. SH-ugar!!!

The Graveyard- Nothing happening

The Roo- Also in a long trade since the 21st. Up at this very second 356 pips with 252 protected.

The Cheese- We just got a short entrance on the Cheese, against the trend. Protect profits and set stops. .85337 is first target.

Today is Thursday. Winning Forex Traders do not put Friday trades into most of their trading plans. The exception to this is of course trading the Daily Charts. Daily charts do not have the noise that you see on the lower time frames.
News does not affect the daily charts as much, unless it is earth shattering, in which case it affects everything.
I am not taking the entrance on the Cheese, you can if you like of course. To me it is to far from the trend.
When we set out to learn currency trading, we might as well learn it right from the start. Trading against the trend is a risk.

One of the hardest things for the trader to capture when forex tip trading,(alerts), is patience. In and of itself forex strategy trading is difficult at best. The discipline required in any type of financial market trading is an impossible task for some traders, and only the strongest survive.
You my friends over the years have demonstrated that you are the strongest.
For people who choose forex tip trading, it is an especially daunting task for the trades seem out of your control, and they are in effect in the hands of another. But you must remember when trading alerts; always do your own due dilligence. It is ok to trade an alert but you must ask yourself, if I didn't recieve this alert, would I still make this trade.
To trade, or not to trade, that is the question. Whether it is nobler in the mind to suffer the whipsaws of this outrageous market, or in its place, to die, without trying, in a sea of poverty.
Ahhhh, that's the rub.

EURO- No new grid breaks, no open trades

The Pound (GBP/USD)- The last break was on October the 12th. We are still in that trade. So far we have banked 245 pips, and it's still on the move.

EJ (EURO/JPY)- On Oct. 10th we entered a north bound trade which produced 310 pips, that trade closed on the 13th. On the 17th we entered a southbound trade which has been in an LDD pattern for the past 7 days. At present we are down 25 pips on the second trade. If you just closed it out, I wouldn't think bad of ya.

The Graveyard (GBP/JPY)- On Oct 18th the graveyard finished a southbound grid break for 90 banked pips. No new breaks to report.

The Roo (AUD/USD)- A daily grid break occurred on the 6th of October. If you took it and stayed with it. You are now up over 700 pips. Hope you are using Sharaks Grid Trade Scale Out Tool. If you are not, it is an almost impossible feat of endurance to stay with the trade for that long. The body just won't do it.

The Cheese (USD/CHF)- Northbound trade entered on the 17th pulled down 90 pips. No new grid breaks or entries.

If not, why? I will assume you are listening to at least some of the daily webinars. You see the results of this fabulous Forex Trading Strategy. It is definitely the best that I have seen as far as it gives you a definitive entrance and exit.
One of the things that make it most difficult for newbie and veteran trader is the subjectivity of the indicator that you are using. For instance; is that enough angle and separation?, is that stochastic to much into the over bought area, etc.
Sharak's Forex Trading System takes all of that away. If the darn thing is straddling you take the trade. And that is that !

EURO- There are no new grid breaks on the euro today. We are still in a trade that started October 12th. (long). At the time of thiswriting we are up ab out 160 pips. Money has been taken and stops are at break even.

POUND- Like the euro there are no new grid breaks. We are in a trade since the 12th. So far, we are up 250 pips, and stops are at break even.

Euro/Jpy- No new breaks however we are in a short trade since the 17th. We are down about 15 pips.

The Graveyard (GPB/JPY)- No straddles, and not in any trades at the moment.

The Aussie (AUD/USD)- No new straddles, but we are in a trade since the 21st. So far up about a hundred pips.

One of the things that I love the most about Sharaks Grid Trade Strategy is the fact that it is almost kind of possible to trade on the day chart with about an hour a day worth of effort. Yea, I know the ads say ten minutes a day. That is complete horse dung!

There are many currency trading strategies on the market today. It is fairly easy to find Currency Trading Training too.
When Iwas looking for some sort of education, I found many different eclectic schools from which to choose from. Most taught basic old school forex trading methods, based on all the standard indicators. Good stuff to know. Waste of time to pay for it. Buy a book.
I always used to look for the non pompous schools that never tried to see me on using one system and one system only, that it works in every season, in every year, and every decade. If I found that it was indeed what they had to offer, the first thing I would then ask is what is their marvelous Currency Trading Tutorial all about. If it was not strongly based in Support and Resistance then I knew that the system they were hawking could not stand up to the test of time.
One of the things that I love most about the Vampire Trading Network is the fact that they are always growing. Hanna and I are always looking for new ways to use the grid trade strategy as confirmations and exits for other strategies such as the classic or the big breakfast, or even the autumn.
John is constantly throwing improvements into the Big Breakfast. He has even shocked me. He know has a fabulous way of entering breakfast trades based on a closed candle breaking free of the Bollingers. It has been working very well so far. Check it out when he does the noon JohnPodBlurb.

Which Forex Trading Strategy is For You?

Sometimes we have to sit back, evaluate the market, and decide which Forex Trading Strategy is the correct strategy for this market. There are a thousand different Forex Trading Systems available to all of us. Most of us veteran traders have seen them all by this time. We realize by this point that in many ways it is not the system, it is the trader who trades them.
Since we know that much of Forex Trading is instinctive, and we have already decided that we have the instinct of a dinosaur running into a tarpit to eat another dinosaur who was struggling to get out of the tarpit!
And because of this lack of instinct that many of us THINK we do not possess, we look for trading systems that require the least subjectivity.
That is why we trade Sharaks Grid Strategy. It has very rigid rules that everyone finds easy to follow. While there is a small bit of common sense involved, even those rules of common sense can be added to your own individual trading plan. Things like don't trade into an oncoming news announcement.
That is why we trade Hanna's Autumn. Same deal, rigid rules of entry and exit.
This is why we trade the classic. Rigid rules. Easy to master. Hugely profitable.
Now, the one system that we do teach that does require some instinct can be the most profitable. That is Johns' Big Breakfast.
If you do it long enough, you start to develop instinct. The rewards can be fast and large.
Which Forex Strategy is the one for you. Learn them all, then decide. They can be equally profitable in the hands of the right trader. It all depends on which one suits your personality. Try them all, the knowledge of other Forex Trading Strategies besides your main trade strategy is a good thing.

Dr. Bobs Forex Trade Signal Picks

Today we will talk a little bit about Sunday night trading. As a general rule, I am not a huge fan of forex online trading on Sunday nights. I feel that the market has not yet achieved any sort of direction yet. To me, The market opens at 2 AM eastern time when the european market begins to wipe the sleep out of its eyes.
At 3 AM when the London market awakens, now then things can really begin to rock. That is why I always had us set our Darvis trades to start to show a breakout starting with the 3 AM candle.
This has really worked out well and at certain times of the year, the Darvis Trade still rocks!
If you are going to trade on Sunday nights, make sure your trades have filled their gaps before you take the trade. Especially if the foreign currency pair is headed in the opposite direction it would need to fill the gap. Most currency pair fill their gaps. Check the gaps for completion before you place a trade
Now, lets take a look at tonite:

Euro, nothing has happened since Friday. No new straddles

Pound, Nothing new, same as Friday

The EJ is still in a trade that it started from a North bound grid straddle from Thursday. So far up 150 Pips. For those who have the new Sharak scale out tool, this forex trading strategy is now on auto pilot.

The Graveyard, South bound fake for about 55 pips depending on how the candle closes

The Roo, has also been on a North bound grid trade since thursday and is up so far a protected 150 pips.

The Cheese, also still in a South bound grid trade since thursday. So far is up a protected 85 pips.

The 2 AM Trading Report

Hello Vampires,

Here is your 2 AM Grid Strategy Trading Report.

6 pm Euro straddle having almost hit target, pulled back at the last minute, still in profit. It is still in profit at the time of this writing. Just closed it out 20 pips in profit.

The Pound is finally pulling back a bit from its trade initiated by a short side straddle ten four hour candles ago. Those who stuck it out are up 105 pips. It is now showing two green candles. It is unclear at this point if the Waltz that is now forming will complete to the North or the South side. It should give plenty of notice as to the direction when it picks one.

The Graveyard faked to the downside giving a loss of 25 pips. That trade was ended by an opposing North side candle. If you were in the North side trade, you are still in it.

The EJ has been range bound for the last twelve candles with no grid trades.

The Roo has been bouncing around for the last 14 candles. It has given a few fakes costing us some pips, but all in all we are up around 200 pips. We are still in a North bound trade.

The Cheese has given about 100 pips in fakes. We are currently in what might turn out to be another North bound fake on the Cheese. I am currently down 25 pips on the Cheese, but I am way up on the other pairs. I will take the 25 pip loss and close out the trade. ( less stress)

I am up around 200 pips for the night after I factor in my losses. I have closed all trades out and I am now done for the night.

The Big Breakfast is one of the oldest of the Vampire Forex Trading Strategies, but it is still regarded as one of the best. (If you ask John he feels it is THE BEST). I am sure the forex broker rating will not rank it hight on their list of favorite forex trading strategies.

I have not really followed the breakfast in a while as I have been totally absorbed in the grids, which have proved itself again to be a winning forex strategy.

I have been listening to Johns show, Have a Big Breakfast with John, and as of late, I have a renewed interest in the Breakfast.

I have been seeing a lot of trades go with just the trigger, and I have even traded it again.

John, looks like you have another winning forex trading strategy revival!!

6 AM Grid Report

The Euro, EUR/USD, is stagnant and has not had a grid break in 40 hours. Look to the breakfast and maybe even your stochastic forex technical indicator for signs of a breakout.

The Pound, GBP/USD, had a nice grid break and is heading towards target.

The Graveyard, GBP/JPY, just ended a head fake with a loss of 60 pips. No new breaks

The EJ, EUR/JPY, is a copy of the Euro and has remained in a one grid channel for the last 16 hours

The Roo, AUD/USD, has not had a grid break in 40 hours and we are still in the trade that it entered 40 hours ago. The winning forex trader using Sharaks Grid Forex Trading Strategy is up over 240 pips on this trade

The Cheese, USD/CHF, has not had a grid break in 48 hours, when it gave a beautiful enty and so far has locked in about 150 pips.

I will be keeping a tight watch on my Big Breakfast looking for signs of a breakout. I will be using it as a sort of a forex graph, looking for the forex trade signals that indicate the pair is about to move. Look for angulation in the bands.

The 6:00 AM Sharak Grid Trade Strategy Report

Here is your six o'clock grid report:

All candles are rated on the four hour chart as this is the
chart that Sharak uses to trade.

The Euro is still in a southbound grid break from Friday,
there is no criteria yet to close out the trade however
Sharak has indicated that he would close it if he were in it.

The pound shows no new grid breaks but again there is a
Friday trade still running. Keep it going at your own risk.

The graveyard, gbp/jpy: the six pm candle gave a straddle
that is still running but has produced 70 pips so far.

The eur/jpy shows no new straddles, but again, one old one
has hit first target from friday and the trade is still
running, so far it has produced 25 bankable pips

The Roo Aud/Usd has also completed a first target friday
trade giving 50 bankable pips, the trade is still running

The Cheese, Usd/Chf is still in a friday trade ( this is
getting boring!), with 45 pips garnered and protected so
far.

The Best Mood For Trading

Does it matter what your mood is when you sit down to trade. The answer to this is more than a one part answer. In a nut shell you could just say yes, your mood matters, and leave it at that.
Trade when you are in a good mood, don't trade when you are in a bad mood.
There, I made the whole thing very simple. Oy Vey, and this is what the world goes coocoo over, Mrs Goldberg had the answer right from the beginning. (if you don't know Mrs. Goldberg, go to youtube.com and search for The Goldbergs tv show).
That is really the simple answer and it will get you through most situations.
But if you are an experienced LONG TERM POSITION TRADER, who enters his trades usually with a day or two of thought, and an hours more contemplation, I don't think your mood will alter the outcome of your forex trading strategy decision. If you are a long term player, and you are in a bad mood, and you are changing the strategy decisions that you had made before... put on the brakes, re-evaluate the entire trade and make sure your decision for revision is based on sound principal and not emotion.
A scalper on the other hand, who trades during depression is about to see the results of that depression cause an extreme regression in his earnings! Don't do it!

Multiple parabolic Sars for Maximum Profits

Hello Vampires,
In one of his rare attempts at being Totally Modern Milly, The Rabbi Sharak Zoor has been playing around with multiple combinations of Parabolic Sars for entries and exits. I have tried my best, (which is usually pretty darn good), to put his system into words.
Here it goes exactly as I wrote it out as if I was teaching it:

Learning to trade the forex on line with Multiple Parabolic Sars

I have as of late been experimenting with multiple combinations of Parabolic Sars, combined with an mt4 indicator called the engine have been giving me superb entries, and great exits too. I will give you all the setup and you can play with it a bit yourselves. It is a perfect trading system for a trending market. Sometimes I get beat up a bit during consolidations but I make it up on the runs.

1) Install the engine indicator on your MT4 platform

2) Install the parabolic Sars on a chart, any chart, any chart at all. (Sounds like I am playing pick a card!) Set the step on the Sars to .05 and the maximum to .2 and color it black.

3) Install another parabolic Sars on a chart, and set the step to .03 and the maximum to .2 and color it yellow.

4) Install one more Sars on the chart with the step set to .01 and the maximum to .2 and color it white.

That is your mechanical setup. Now, I will explain what you are to be looking for to facilitate an entry.

Trading with the trend is always best. (If there happens to be one, if there is not, maybe we should go to a movie or something. Tennis anyone?). But it is not a requirement for this type of Parabolic Sars trading.

I do however recommend that if you are trading against the trend that you set a lower target.

1) Ideally, you want an engine pointing in the same direction of your trend, which will give you the directionality of your trade. Hold your horses there Tonto; The Lone Ranger ain't ready to ride yet. (Ever wonder why the apostrophe is in ain't? What two words is it connecting? Hmmmmm?

2) I then wait for my black and my yellow Parabolic to flip in the direction of the potential trade. I want it underneath the candle if going long, and above the candle if going short. (Raise the price up, or push the price down is the way that I was taught.)

3) This is my entry signal. Enter the trade in the direction indicated by your engine arrow, and your confirming Parabolic Sars.

Now for my exit signals:

4) If I am in a heavily trending market, I will not exit the trade until all three Sars black, yellow, and white have turned against me. (assuming I have gained a fair amount of pips, otherwise I will use the exit below.

5) If the market is moving about as much as a dead parrot being attacked by a rabid dingo, in other words, not so much, I will exit as soon as one Sars flips. If the chances of the trade look good to continue, as verified by any other confirming indicator. Lately, I like the CCI with the levels set to +50 and -50. But you can use any indicator for confirmation that you like. Stochastics, whatever. If my confirming indicator agrees with the Sars that it is time to leave the trade, I will. Otherwise I will wait for one more Sar to turn against me.

Trying to learn to trade forex on line can be a very difficult process for some. We will try to provide you with enough different successful forex trading strategies so you can pick the ones that suit you the most. Different Strategies in the Forex World fit different people. I just know that Ray Cambell will love this one!

The Six am Candle Report

The euro has no grid break. It appears to be in a retrace from the northbound direction it had been headed in for the last few days. It appears to be resuming its southbound trend.

The pound was in a heavy southbound trend and took a moderately major reversal ( though it wasn't much when compared to the whole southbound movement). It has now been stagnant in a two grid channel for the last few days.

The Graveyard gbp/jpy is pretty much mirroring the pound

The ej eur/jpy is mirroring the pound and the graveyard

The cheese usd/chf is of course doing the opposite of the euro as any good inverse pair should, except it is pretty stagnant for the last few days remaining rangebound.

And finally the roo aud/usd was on a strong downtrend, reversed sharply and now seems to be resuming its southbound journey again.

I am doing a lot of lower light confirmations, a trick of Johns before I enter any trade on the higher time frames. Successful forex traders adapt to the markets they are given and volatility requires that your forex trading strategy be taken down a bit to the lower lights, at least for confirmation. All of the best forex trading strategies will do this.

The Morning Review

The EURO is straddling right now to the down side, but we shall see if it can hold that straddle till the open of the 6 am candle.
The trend seems to be holding strongly to the South, with a retracement in place that seems to be in a position of weakening. I would be more comfortable with a South side trade right now in anticipation of the north side trend renewing.
The GBP/USD looks very much the same as the EURO except that it has broken a very strong trend line and could possibly be reversing to the north side. If this happens, the EURO might follow as the normal correlation of the two pairs normally has the EURO following the Pound. Either direction could be a risk as the strong trend is south, with an equally strong reversal making northbound look not so bad
The Graveyard GBP/JPY is almost identical to the Pound.
The EUR/JPY also looks the same as the Pound. Be aware that in a few of these pairs it looks like some pretty strong Waltzes are forming.
The AUD/USD, the Roo took a big drop in the past few days. It is recovering now. Its trend is strongly to the down side but that is skewed by the recent drops. I am hesitant to call a direction on this one. Call it by ear, or better yet, stand and watch.
The CHF/USD, The Cheese is on a very strong northward climb but seems to have taken a very serious retracement. Be a bit cautious till it determines where it wants to go.

Hello Vampires,

On Tuesday, Sharak seemed extremely tired. So much so in fact that he ended his show about a half hour early.
Being that he is 96 years old, we do not take anything carelessly and we had him at the doctors on Wednesday.
They say he is in remarkable shape for a man of his age, that he does not seem a day over 70, which made me laugh, but I guess that is a good thing. I would much rather be 70 than 96, lol.
Normally, his trading time is from 1:30 am eastern to 10:00 am, and then, unless the market is going crazy, he goes to sleep. Because of doing the webinars, he is up till at least 1:00 pm, and it is just to much for him.
He has said that he does want to come back to teaching, even if it means his retiring from trading, which is probably a good thing. At his age, he no longer has the reflexes mental or physical to trade, but there is no better teacher in the world than our own Rabbi Sharak Zoor.
He will be resting for no less than two weeks and I will fill in and do his shows. Hanna and I were his disciples, and we helped him to put into words many of the ideosyncracies of the fabulous Sharaks Grid Trade System. So who better to fill in for him as he recovers
We all wish him a speedy recovery, and the best of health for many years to come.

Well about 16 hours ago we had a break!

16 hours ago on the Euro we had a grid break that just completed a little bit ago yielding 50 pips for those that took it.
The Roo also had a 16 hour old grid break that also just hit target yielding an additional 60 pips.
Even though it was basically a quiet night, it still gave us 110 pips in total if you had the patience to wait.
This is where the benefit of stoploss and limit orders really come into play.
Once your entry is established, it is very easy to place a stop order and a profit limit order on the trade. You do this so that you will not have to baby sit the darn thing for possibly 16 or 24 hours, yuk!
If you wish to enter with more than one lot so that you have the ability to scale out of the trades rather than exit the entire position at first target, you may enter more than one trade on each position, but don't forget the fifo rule. The trades must be removed in the order in which they were placed.
If you try to remove the trades in any other order your MT4 platform will not let you.
It is a good idea to exit at least half the position at first target. Myself, lately, I have been exiting about 80% of the position at first target. You could at this point enter a trailing stop on the rest of the lottage left in the trade. The trail could start at the number of pips to break even, but I would increase the trail as I gather more pips. Rember, you don't want to choke the trade, only give it enough breathing room so that it can stretch its legs a little bit without getting stopped out.

Online Forex Trading Strategies, Which is Best?

In my mind when I ponder which is the greatest online forex tyrading strategies, two pop right into my head. One of them is of course the Vampire Trading Networks ground breaking strategy, the Big Breakfast. This is undoubtedly the best of the technical trade systems that I have found. If you are a trader that likes forex technical indicators, then without a doubt, this is for you. You get to use everything from Bollinger Bands to Parabolic Sars. You even get to use some of the Vampire Trading Networks own original indicators such as the Crystal Trend Indicator, The Forsight, and the Trend weight. It is a Forex indicator traders dream.
If you are more price action motivated, then without a doubt, Sharaks Grid Trade Strategy is probably the most accurate and consistent of the price action trade strategies that I have ever seen. It is also incredibly easy to learn, and can be mastered in a month if you put your mind to it. (This and the Classic are my favorites).
There is of course Hanna's Autumn, and Waltz strategies which are also bulls eye winners.
I have even seen Guido and Mitch fooling with the Itchi Moku Cloud, (but when I look at it all I can see is the Kaki Laki Mess), but what the hek, they seem to do well with it.

I am going to copy and past your email onto the blog here so others can see the answer. Great question by the way Chris. I should have listed the upper and lower RSI parameters in the first post. RSI is a very popular Forex indicator, and even a few Vampire Forex Strategies use it as a base.
RSI is a momentum indicator that compares the intensity of recent winning trades to losing trades. Its goal is very similar to a stochastic indicator in the fact that it tries to give you insight into when a foreign exchange currency pair is either over bought or over sold. If it is overbought, it is only a matter of time till it goes back down. If it is oversold, the converse is true, and it is only a matter of time before, it comes back up.
By the way for you equity or commodity traders, the RSI Indicator works just fine.
Chris, remember, it can stay overbought or oversold for a long time! The danger of using the RSI Indicator is in the fact that many people will try to jump the gun, and as soon as the indicator gets into the overbought/sold position, they enter a trade in expectation of the reversal.

It is for this reason that we have the horizontal lines. As far as the parameters, there are two that I am experimenting with. I have been using the 20 and the 80, and the 30 and the 70. The 30 and the 70 are a bit more conservative and the 20 and the 80 is slightly more for the aggressive trader.
For those of you interested in day trading forex, I would probably go with the conservative setting and leave the aggressive settings for the longer term trade so it will have time to reach fruition.
Chris, try both of these, and experiment on your own, and let me know how it works out.
FYI, I am sure John will have the comments section fixed soon. I am thinking that I would like to have it as mor of a Forex Forum, where the comments and posts just stream, one after the other.

Give a Try to the RSI

Over the years, the RSI Forex Trading Indicator has proven itself to be very useful, especially in the decision as to whether or not to stay in a Forex Trade or to leave the trade.

Personally, I think the standard setting that is used which is a time period of 14 is basically useless. In fact in my first forays with RSI, I put the entire indicator to the side, and no longer used it in any of my Forex Trading Strategies.

Now I don't remember if it was John McgLaughlin or Dave Davis who told me to try experimenting with the settings, but I did. I believe it was John. Dave started us using the Parabolic Sars, if my memory holds true.

Man oh man, the whole world of RSI changed. I used it as a confirmation indicator to the early days of Johns Big Breakfast, and it dramatically changed my results. I had far more winning forex trades. My success rate went way up, and I was well on my way to being a successful forex trader.

The setting I seem to prefer is the 2 instead of the 14.

It is an easy indicator to use, it's pretty much just like a stochastic. If it goes under the top horizontal line, you go short, and if it goes over the bottom horizontal line, you go long.

Play around with it yourselves and let me know how it goes.

New Channels appear to be holding

Good Morning Vampires!

It's almost 3AM and I am checking the charts looking for Price Action motivated movements that will guide us in our never ending quest for forex wealth.

Other than a grid break on the pound about a day ago that just reached first target for a very clean 60 pips, I don't see much. I went over every chart of the six majors that we trade, and no grid breaks yet.

If you want to go down to the lower charts, I am sure you will find something, but in general, it is to hard on the body to check charts every 15 minutes, regardless of profitability. Anyway, we have found time after time, the money seems to be made on the four hours chart.

It doesn't really matter whether your forex trade strategy involves technical indicators, or price action indicators, or even forex fundamentals.

Higher charts filter out the noise that we find on the lower charts and give a more accurate indication on the direction that the foreign currency pair is taking.
The perfect chart for a combination of profitablility and ease on the body (it allows a bit of sleep), seems to be the four hour, which in back and forward testing seems to provide more successful trades than any other.
I guess for the grid trade strategy, we have found the sweet spot.

I agree, Sharaks Grid Trade Strategy is about the best thing that there is out there as far as overall profit and accuracy of trades.

I absolutely love how it makes use of price action trades, instead of the normal indicator based trades that so many Forex Traders base their Forex Trade systems on.

To Sharak, Hanna, and I, price action is the only indicator for a novice Forex Trader to use. It is the most difficult to learn, but it never gets old, or out of style, or stops working.

Forex Indicators can be a great thing. In fact, my very own favorite trade The Classic, is based on two indicators, the VTN Engine, and the Parabolic sars.

Forex Trading Systems based on price action will teach you how to trade. You can always add indicators later.

Online Forex Trading is the Perfect Vehicle for the Grid Trade Strategy During the Summer Months

Those of us who are consistently trading Sharaks Grid Trade Strategy have been rewarded with a nicely profitable August. Scoring Winning Forex Trades in the summer can be a chanllenge to say the least.

Now, I will tell you, I did not make a whole lot this summer as I have cut my lot size down to minimums so the low volumes that are quite normally associated with the summer months did not slaughter me with whipsaw trades.

During the summer all Forex Trade Strategies that I have seen lose a great portion of their accuracy as the volumes of traders and money in the foreign currency market drops. This can cause violent price swings, sometimes with no apparent reason.
